The Award is open to anyone aged 14-25. Lack of money will not stop you doing the Award as concessionary fees are available on request...just ask.

So why do the award?
There are 3 levels of the Award (Bronze, Silver and Gold). See our FAQ - The Bronze Award to find out what's involved for the usual entry level,

People do the Award for lots of different reasons but the most important reason to get involved is because you will enjoy it. Let's face it, there's no point in doing the Award if you don't have fun along the way.
The flexible Programme and the wide range of options means you can try something different, without having to do anything you don't want to do.
Everyone gets different things out of the Award but there are some common benefits which we've listed here...
In taking part, you'll develop:
Self-belief

Independence of thought and action
A sense of responsibility
An awareness of their potential

An understanding of strengths and weaknesses
The ability to plan and use time
